massif from the comfort of your chair on the terrace
of one of the mountain restaurants? (access for pedestrians
via the cable car or chair lift).
If you are a hiking fanatic or simply a
leisurely walker you'll find a number of marked footpaths
which begin in the centre of the resort. There are
also organised walks along the edge of the Vanoise
National Park where, if you're lucky, you'll catch
a glimpse of the Ibex that live there. Relaxation
and your amusement are definitely the order of the
